Time Line
Note: This is a work in progress and serves
as a mental way for me to make connections and research. It has helped me narrow
dates down so as to tighten up on researching.
Questions: After doing this I'm left with some questions - which lead to
possible research.
* Why did the family move to U.S.?
* What happened to J.T. McKenzie's tailorshop?
* Why doesn't first family appear in records anywhere in Boston? Where did they
go? Or did they stay in Charlottetown?
* I'd love more information on Catherine McLeod (aka "Aunt Kate"
according to Betty Makela). She was a daughter from James E. McLeod's first
family, and apparently visited the second family in Boston frequently enough to
be considered one of the "favorite aunts."
* First family isn't listed in any census' early on before Ann dies. Did they
have another home outside of Charlottetown.
*What about the Scotch District (Lot 67)?
A James McLeod (may not be "our" James) and a J.T. McKenzie (owned
tailor shop in Charlottetown that James later worked for) are mentioned as having
attended the "Stratylbyn Jubilee" there before he moved to Boston.
Could the family have lived there prior to moving to Charlottetown?
